Watching the weight go

01/01/10 - I'm officially tired of the weight....

Again.

I decided to keep a blog this time - it will help me keep myself accountable - tracking my workouts, water intake and eating...

FOOD
Today hasn't been a good food day. I woke up and found myself without many of the things I needed and lacked the desire to go to the store.
Breakfast : the last of the cheesecake
Lunch: Chicken cream cheese pocket (made from chicken, cream cheese, biscuit, onion flakes)
Dinner will probably not be great either.
**dinner was 2 chicken sausages with garlic, mozerella and artichokes and a side of macaroni salad.

WATER
So far I've only had 24 ounces of water - but I plan on drinking at least another 24. I've had 2 larger cups of coffee with my creamer (coconut creme) as well.

EXERCISE
I read in my 6 week body make over book that if you're over 100 pounds over weight that you should start at 50-55% of your maximum Target Heart Rate. It says that if you're winded you're going too fast, and when you can work up to walking at 5 minutes at this rate, you should move on to the next step.
I was winded at 16 beats per 10 seconds, but I did 5 minutes. The longest 5 minutes ever! I will aim to do multiple 5 minute stints on the treadmill. I don't understand the treadmill, but I will do my best.
**I think I figured out the speed of the treadmill - so I was able to walk more efficiently and not push so hard.... I was at around 17-18 beats per 10 seconds for another 5 minutes, but I didn't feel as winded as I did the first time.

I weighed 234.5 on 12/29/09 when I went to the doctor... I'm sure I'm no less than that today, so lets call that my "starting weight".

**It dawned on me - I should document that I will be following what I learned using Michael Thurmond's 6 week body make over.
